The patient journey

From first consultation to measurable progress.

Every plan begins with your foundations, moves through an unhurried assessment, and is refined over time against your own baseline, not against anyone else's. Here is what to expect, step by step.

Foundations first. Optimisation second.

We look at foundations before anything else.

Before any test is ordered, any supplement suggested, or any therapy considered, your physician assesses and addresses these six foundations. Testing and optimisation build on this base, they never replace it.

Nutrition

What and how you eat, and whether it is giving your body what it needs.

Movement

How your body moves through the day, not only what happens in a gym.

Sleep + Recovery

The quality and consistency of your rest, and how well you recover between demands.

Environment

The everyday conditions around you, from light and air to the routines that shape your day.

Nervous System + Stress

How your body manages pressure, and whether it gets a genuine chance to switch off.

Connection

The relationships and sense of belonging that support wellbeing beyond the physical.

Five steps

Your path through Modern Health.

A considered sequence, paced around you, with every step building on the one before it.

  1. 1

    Booking and intake

Book your consultation online in a few minutes. Before you arrive, you complete a thorough digital health questionnaire, so your physician has time to review it and your consultation time is spent on you, not on paperwork.

  2. 2

    Initial consultation and diagnostic workup

An unhurried, physician-led consultation looks at your history, goals and current health from every angle. From there, a body composition scan establishes your objective baseline, and an advanced bloodwork panel is chosen for your specific picture, across metabolic, cardiovascular, hormonal, inflammatory, micronutrient and organ-function markers.

  3. 3

    Results review and treatment plan

Your physician walks you through what your results mean, in plain language, connecting how you feel with what your numbers show. A personalised plan is then built across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and targeted supplementation, with every recommendation linked to the biomarker that drives it.

  4. 4

    Nutrition and advanced therapies

Your dietitian turns the plan into a practical, personalised nutrition strategy you can actually follow. Where clinically indicated, your physician may also recommend advanced therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen or red light therapy, always as part of a wider plan and never as a default step.

  5. 5

    Follow-up and progress review

At your progress review, repeat measurements are compared against your own baseline rather than a generic norm. Your plan is recalibrated marker by marker, and ongoing tracking between visits means nothing is judged on a single snapshot.

Continuous tracking

Your results are not a single snapshot. They sit in one longitudinal health record, so your physician can follow trends over time and refine your plan against your own history, rather than judge you against one test on one day.
