Assess
Longevity Assessment and Health-span Report.
A structured programme that maps the systems most connected to your healthy years ahead, then turns that map into a written report and plan.
Who this is for
From guessing to measuring.
The assessment suits adults who want a serious, data-forward baseline rather than a rough impression of their health.
What's included
Everything in the programme.
Five parts, run across several appointments rather than a single visit.
Deep history consultation
Detailed questionnaires and an unhurried first consultation to understand your story and priorities.
Thorough testing
Bloods across metabolic, cardiovascular and hormonal markers, alongside fitness and body composition measures.
Physician review
Your results interpreted together by your physician, rather than read as isolated markers.
Written health-span report
A prioritised plan across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and supplementation.
Structured follow-up
Remeasurement on a schedule, so the plan keeps working as your numbers change.
What it involves
The steps, in order.
The programme runs across several appointments, not one visit.

Bloods across metabolic, cardiovascular and hormonal markers, alongside fitness and body composition measures.

What it may help with
Considered, conservatively.
The assessment is designed to give you clarity on:
- Which systems, metabolic, cardiovascular and hormonal, are most relevant to your long-term health
- Where a focused lifestyle or medical change may have the most impact
- A baseline to measure future change against
Always considered as part of a physician-led plan. This list is illustrative, not a guarantee of outcome for any individual.
Common questions
Questions, answered.
What does the longevity consultation include?
It begins with a 60 minute Longevity Consultation covering your medical, family and lifestyle history and a review of any existing bloodwork you bring, with risk-and-opportunity mapping across metabolic, hormonal, nutritional and lifestyle domains. Testing follows only where clinically indicated, and you receive a written summary of priorities and next steps.
Is this the right starting point for me?
The Longevity Consultation is the broadest consultation we offer and the entry point for a comprehensive baseline across every area of health. If you have one specific concern, another consultation may fit better; a Holistic GP-style consultation can help you decide.
Should I bring previous test results?
Yes. Bring recent blood tests, imaging or specialist reports. Reviewing existing investigations is part of the consultation and avoids repeating tests that are unlikely to change your plan.
What tests might follow?
Only tests likely to change management. Foundational bloodwork comes first; further investigations such as hormone testing, a sleep study or continuous glucose monitoring are added only where clinically indicated.
Do you accept medical aid?
No. Modern Health bills clients privately and does not take payment through medical aids.
Can follow-up consultations be done online?
Yes. Telehealth follow-up consultations are offered as an option for existing clients on an established plan.
